Monthly Guided Bicycle Rides
On the Cheyenne Greenway
Please join us the first Saturday morning of each month, 10:00 AM, May through September for a free guided bicycle ride on the Greater Cheyenne Greenway. This is a no-drop ride. No one will be left behind! Teens are welcome, as are children old enough to keep pace with adult riders. (This will be a relaxed ride, not a race!)
Our starting point each month will be at the Lions Park Re-Ride station, marked by a yellow star pin on the map above.
If you do not have your own bicycle, just bring a credit card and a phone to use a bicycle provided by Re-Ride Cheyenne. There is no charge to use a Re-Ride bicycle, but a temporary holding charge will be put on your card until you return the bike at the end of the ride.
Rides will be guided by members and friends of the Cheyenne Greenway Foundation. There will be guides at the front and rear of the group to make sure no one gets lost and no one gets left behind.
Our regular route will be the Cheyenne Airport Loop shown on the map below (but with a different start/end point). This route takes an hour to an hour and a half at an easy pace. However, we may decide to do a different ride based on the wishes and abilities of the gathered group.
Helmets are required. Please bring your own water and snacks.
