Cheyenne Greenway Foundation
2012 Projects
In 2012, C B & L & Associates, property managers for the Frontier Mall, participated in a Corporate Volunteer Project to benefit public lands. Joan Ghani, property manager in Cheyenne, chose the Greater Cheyenne Greenway as beneficiary for their fundraiser. Over $500 was raised, and proceeds went to the Dry Creek Mile Marker Project.

2011 Projects
Dry Creek Greenway Yellowstone Road Underpass
Greenway patrons and local businesses contributed funding and labor to beautify the underpass of Yellowstone Road at Dry Creek. The Cheyenne Greenway Foundation was the fiscal agent for a grant from the Greater Cheyenne Foundation for this project.
Thomas E. Eppler Memorial Bench
Tom Eppler and several other concerned citizens made up the grassroots group who are credited with spawning the idea of a Greenway in Cheyenne. Post Earth Day 1990 found eager citizens responding to a “call for action” by organizing a cleanup of a section of Crow Creek near Missile Drive. The plan included constructing a walking path and planting trees to beautify the area. Tom was a champion for the Greenway and other quality of life projects in Cheyenne for many years. Without Tom, the Greater Cheyenne Greenway might not exist, or at the least would not be as wonderful as it is. The Foundation is pleased to be a part of recognizing Tom and his contributions to the quality of life for Cheyenne residents and visitors.

About Us
The Cheyenne Greenway Foundation was conceived in the summer of 2008 when a member of the Greenway Advisory Committee suggested that the Committee do some fundraising to fund enhancements and beautification projects on the Greenway. A walk/run event on the Greenway was a perfect fit, and so was born the Spring into Green celebration.
